Musical Scores with Anne McKennon

A score is the written form of a musical work containing all the parts. A staff (plural: staves) is made of 5 parallel horizontal lines for music notation. Instruments may be notated on individual staves, or like instruments can be combined into one staff. All the staves together create a system. Instructor Anne McKennon presents the principles of an orchestral score and how it is used by the conductor to lead the ensemble. Put it all together by watching the score as the Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville plays Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss in 2020. We are #civicorchestrajax
