Silvia Agreda

¡Hola! My name is Silvia Agreda; I was born in Chalchuapa, El Salvador. I am a multimedia artist in graphic design, photography, and currently welding. I received my BA in Spanish from the University of North Florida. My steel piece is presently at the UNF Seaside Park at Jacksonville Beach. The inspiration for this piece was the multicultural diversity of the States and how we all should learn to cohabit. My inspiration moves from immigration issues to Mayans. My latest work, presented at  Jacksonville Civic Orchestra’s concerts, is to showcase how Mayan folkloric music is slowly disappearing.
