The Orchestra Strikes Back

The Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville will perform a 60 minute, family friendly music program featuring such favorites as Copland’s Rodeo suite, Cole Porter Salute and the striking music of John Williams Star Wars Suite.
In honor of May as Mental Health Awareness Month and to address the unprecedented need for mental health services in our community, the Civic Orchestra is giving 50% of all donations from our May 14th concert to the Womens Center of Jacksonville to support free mental health services. Together we will strengthen our community.

- Aaron Copland – Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo
- Karl Goldmark- Scherzo in A major, Op. 45
- Cole Porter – The Cole Porter Salute (Featuring: Another Op’nin, Another Show, In the Still of the Night, Anything Goes, and Night and Day)
- John Williams – Star Wars Suite for Orchestra
